A great way to feel beautiful and stay on trend during your pregnancy is to find pieces that you can wear before, during and after pregnancy. There are many great maternity brands, but it’s still great to be able to wear some non-maternity pieces so your wardrobe will transition with you smoothly after the birth. The empire waist on this dress from sheinside.com makes it perfect for a long term piece in your wardrobe.

The tribal style is super popular right now, and will probably be around for a bit longer still because of how fun the bright colors are. Going into Fall/Winter you will probably want to make your outfit match the season by adding a dark jacket. Here we added a fitted leather jacket with some extra texture and strong lines. It matches the dress in boldness, but doesn’t compete with the bright colors.

A jacket is also a great way to give additional structure to the outfit since the bottom half is extra flowy on your body. Finish off the look with equally bright makeup, especially the lips and you’re good to go. If you feel like you need some jewelry, stick with long, dangly earrings that would compliment the long look and the tribal theme.

Lovely! I would like to see you do a post on footwear for those of us that would like to transition our maxi dresses into winter wear… I am in my third trimester and my usual winter fare (skinny jeans and riding boots) is soon to not fit around my swollen middle and ankles. Any cute easy on/off suggestions? 😉

Love this post! Thank you for putting where you got everthing- including makeup and such. When I go to the link for the lips stick it just goes to the website what are the actual color names?
