Cancun has been even better than we expected, with it’s turquoise blue water, deep green jungle and sunshine for days. But while the humidity is great for my skin, it doesn’t always cooperate with my hair.
When my hair stylist heard I was going on a tropical vacation, she recommended that I bring the Kerastase Fluidissime Spray to control the frizz and fly aways and the Elixir K Ultimate Serum to keep my hair healthy, shiny and camera-ready. I hadn’t found anything that really worked yet so I decided to give it a try.
Our first day in Cancun my hair was unruly and out of control. I have pin straight hair, ladies! I never thought my hair could turn into a mop but it did. After my shower, I sprayed the Kerastase Fluidissime Spray (that by the way, smells sooo good!) all over my damp hair and blow dried it. I kept following the instructions and took a tiny portion of the serum, rubbed it between my fingertips and applied it to my hair, especially to my ends. The results started right away for me. After using it for the whole trip (now on my fifth day), my hair looks shiny, smooth and tamed despite the humidity (71% today). The highlights in my hair stand out even more, my hair feels so smooth and soft, I hardly see any split ends. And most important to me, my hair is finally manageable and frizz free.
Just as some extra advice, my stylist made it a point to tell me that it really is a teeny tiny amount you need, and that one serum container, should last you 6 months or more. Seriously, probably smaller than a pea, and it worked on my thick, long hair.
I really noticed that it working when my highlights started popping out more and I got a couple compliments, and when I did my hair that night I looked closer and could feel how much more healthy it was getting.
I’ll let you know how it does after a week or two in Utah, as well. Now off to spend our last day in Cancun out in the sun.
