Highlighting is a makeup trend that will most likely never go out of style. But not everyone can use the same highlighter makeup. When I’m doing makeup on clients I have to take into consideration their skin type, color, and texture. If you have dry skin or mature skin you don’t want to use a powder highlighter. And if you have oily skin, using a cream highlighter won’t do you any good. If you have normal to combination skin you can pretty much get away with using any type of highlighter.
I am obsessed with cream highlighters lately. Currently many brands are coming out with new highlighters and creams are in right now girls! Plus, creams always looks more natural than powders. Using a creamy texture will give your skin a more youthful appearance.
WHAT TO USE:
For dry skin, I love using a creamy product that has hydrating ingredients like the Frank Body Illuminator which is made with coconut and jojoba oils. This creamy formula will melt into your skin and it will give you a supermodel-esqe glow! Did you watch the last makeup tutorial on my IG stories (@kandjdiaries) a few days ago? I used the Frank Body Illuminator and I received lots of messages of people who were excited to buy it and try it themselves!
It’s so easy, you don’t need a makeup artist to help you create a gorgeous glow! The best tool to apply cream highlighters are your fingers. dab your fingers in the pot and dab it on the high points of your face. A little goes a long way but if you wanted more glow that’s not a problem because this product is very buildable.
WHERE TO BUY:
I love how easy it is to get a hold of this Illuminator and other Frank Body products I’m dying to try! You can find Frank Body is many beauty stores all over the world! If you live in United States you can get your hands on this beautiful cream highlighter at Ulta, Urban Outfitters, and the official website Frank Body.
