Makeup services announcement + Q&A on this look!

Q & A

What did you use to contour and is that the best product to use for cream contouring?

Oh this one is my baby!  It’s the Smashbox Studio Skin Shaping Foundation.  One side is “soft contour” and the other side is “foundation”.  I only use the contour side.  There are so many good ones out there… but this one has been my favorite for months!  It’s always in my kit!  It blends easily and looks beautiful on the skin.

How did you blend the contour?  Can you do a video about it?

I used a Beauty Blender.  I will definitely make a separate video for you guys! I’m so happy you requested it!

What lashes did you use and what is your favorite lash brand?

I used Ardell in the style “207 Black”.   I use Ardell Lashes A LOT!  So you could say it’s my favorite brand.  The quality is good and it’s affordable.  They don’t last for ever but you can use the same false lashes multiple times before it’s time to throw them away.

How long did this makeup session take you?

2 1/2 hours

What is the trick for making her lips bigger and fuller?

Layering lip products from darkest to lightest starting by outlining her lips with a brown lip liner! I used 4 lip products on her.

How do you like the new Laura Mercier concealer?

It’s a GREAT medium coverage concealer!  I love how lightweight it is and it never creases.  On Jimena I used the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer in the shade 2W.  I will do a separate post on this and I will swatch all of the shades for you.

Are you taking on new clients right now?

I get the most DM s about this… well ladies, I am happy to announce that YES, I will start taking on clients and you will have more information on this very soon!  For those who have messaged me, thank you so so much for your incredible patience.  Please check the blog in a few days for more information!

Can you tell us your pricing?

I’m still working out the details!  But I will let you know next week.

How is her skin so smooth?

Primer girls.  Primer is life!  I used the Estee Lauder The Mattifier which is new to my kit!

What did you use for that gold liquid eyeshadow base?  Is it good?

I used the Mary-Dew Manizer Liquid Highlighter by The Balm…. I’ll be honest,  I would not recommend it for the eyes (even though they say you can apply it as an eyeshadow too).  It was my first time using it as an eyeshadow and by the time we were done it was starting to crease a tiny bit ..and any kind of creasing is a big no for me!  It’s a fantastic product to use as a highlighter though!  I wrote a whole post about the new Liquid Highlighters by The Balm here.

Elizabeth Casey I am SO trying this! I”ll be 36 next month and those lil bastards called wrinkles have been slowly appearing around my eyes. Every single concealer I”ve ever tried (even high end) creases on me! The only concealer that”s never done that is, surprisingly, wet n wild photo-focus concealer. I wanted to venture out and try something different so I picked up the bye bye under eye concealer by It cosmetics. It”s suuuper thick and a little goes a loooong way, and even blending it out w/ my sponge took more than 5 min. Still creased on me too. Wnw took me literally 10 seconds. But thanks for posting this hack! I might be able to wear my byebyeundereye after all. 😊❤
