How to recreate Gigi Hadid’s Met Gala Makeup Look (tutorial)

Beauty

Hair inspiration: @laurapolko

Gigi Hadid looked amazing at the Met Gala.  There is no denying that!  While I was watching on TV  all the celebrities arrive at the Met Gala my heart stoped the second I saw her.  Her beautiful stained glass mermaid Versace gown was so different than any of the other looks I saw on the red carpet that night.  Her makeup complimented her outfit very well.  The amazing Patrick Ta did a fabulous job (as always!).  I asked you guys on my last blog post which look I should recreate from the Met Gala and I did a poll on my Instagram Stories as well.  Most of you voted for this look!  I was happy with the results and I filmed a tutorial on my Instagram and Facebook stories yesterday.  Did you see it?!  Don’t worry if you didn’t.  I saved it on my highlights!

I initially wanted to use the exact products that @patrickta used to create this beautiful makeup look on Gigi but after driving to a few different stores and not being able to find all of the products I needed I decided to just use what I had at home.  I have really good news for you girls,  Patrick Ta used all drugstore products (Maybelline)!  The bad news? Well, the makeup palette he used is not available until September!  But if you are still curious as to what he used take a look at the makeup breakdown below!
